Functionality-wise there’s not much to complain about the new Olympus E-P2, and in fact it pretty much exactly addresses all the primary issues with the E-P1. The main physical difference is an accessory port right behind and below the hot-shoe, which allows for plugging in the new VF-2 Electronic View Finder, or alternatively the EMA-1 audio input module. Olympus EP-2 Comes Out Early, Almost No New Features

A scant five months after releasing its retro-styled, modern-thinking EP-1. Olympus has detailed the EP-2. But don’t worry if you just bought the “old” model — the changes are mostly cosmetic, and the picture-taking internals remain exactly the same.

In my school days, I was quite fascinated with physics as a whole. What started off with an explanation of heat, light, apples falling from trees expanded to an understanding of atoms, electrons, and subatomic particles. Even for a lot of “geeky” school going students, the term “quantum” was not unknown. DICE is letting folks know that there are currently no Battlefield Bad Company 2 Beta sign-ups, meaning that any recent invitations you may have received represent scams. Battlefield producer Gordon Van Dyke is letting the community know that any site asking you to sign up for the beta is phishing — he recommends you “give them the middle finger.”

Carphone Warehouse to sell 1 million iPhones by Christmas

Carphone Warehouse, Europe’s largest independent cell phone retailer, announced that it will sell more than 1 million iPhones by Christmas.

The retailer first launched the iPhone in November 2007, and it’s currently offering the smartphone only on the O2 network.

However, starting November 10, Carphone will also sell the iPhone to Orange customers – this being the main reason for the company’s optimistic expectations.
